Desired Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Valid (or eligible for) state licensure in Georgia
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other advanced certifications a plus
- Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory therapy procedures (e.g., ventilation management, oxygen therapy, aerosol medication)
- Accurately assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to therapy
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and equipment usage
