Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
- Valid state Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility)
- Previous clinical experience with oxygen therapy, aerosol medication, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Deliver therapies such as oxygen, aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation support
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and follow care plans for patients with COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions
- Educate patients and families about disease management and equipment use
- Ensure thorough and accurate patient documentation
