Schedule:
- Full-time, travel assignment
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with current credentials
- Clinical excellence in pediatric respiratory therapies
- Proficiency in:
- Aerosol and medicated aerosol therapy (nebulizers, MDI, DPI)
- Airway clearance (PEP, hyperinflation, oscillatory therapies)
- Manual and mechanical ventilation, including CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV, NAVA
- Airway management (tracheostomy care, suctioning, intubation assist)
- Blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
- Advanced monitoring and transport proficiency
- Familiarity with Asthma, CF, RDS management, nitric oxide, and heliox protocols
- Strong patient and family education skills
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments and with diverse teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage advanced pediatric respiratory interventions
- Educate patients and families on therapies and equipment
- Coordinate with medical teams during high-risk deliveries, neonatal rapid response, and transport scenarios
- Document interventions, interpret clinical data, and ensure equipment hygiene and operation
