Position Highlights
- Schedule/Hours:
- 6:00 PM 6:00 AM shifts
- Varied days, with every other weekend required
- Required to reside at least 100 miles from Lahoma
Qualifications
- Active RRT credentials
- Valid ABG License
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
- Experience stabilizing neonates and ventilating newborns until transfer (NICU experience not required, but neonatal stabilization is essential)
Role Responsibilities
- Administer physician-prescribed respiratory care for diverse patient groups
- Perform diagnostic evaluations: obtain/analyze physiologic specimens, interpret diagnostic data, and conduct cardiopulmonary studies
- Deliver and monitor respiratory treatments, mechanical ventilation, artificial airway care, and bronchopulmonary hygiene
- Apply and monitor medical gases and environmental control systems
- Manage pharmacological therapies related to respiratory care
- Support cardiopulmonary rehab and hemodynamic cardiovascular care
- Educate and support patients in rehabilitation and health management
