As a Registered Respiratory Therapist in this setting, youll be part of a supportive respiratory unit caring for patients of all ages, including a strong focus on neonatal care within a NICU. Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Rotating every other weekend
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- At least 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
- NICU experience required
- Proficiency with Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1 equipment
- Experience with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications (NRP preferred or obtainable after hire)
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Comfortable in all black scrubs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced respiratory care to adults and neonates, particularly in the NICU
- Perform respiratory support modalities including high flow oxygen, CPAP, and ventilator management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care
- Document all care precisely in the Meditech system
