Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shift: 6:30 am 7:00 pm
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- 15-week contract
- No guarantee of hours
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (NRP preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in respiratory care, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
- Previous travel assignments required (no first assignments)
- Active Hawaii license preferred; candidates may apply upon offer but must have it by start
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across diverse patient populations
- Manage continuous airway support, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator therapy
- Participate in CPR, consults, and all aspects of respiratory care management
- Utilize computerized charting systems, Pyxis, and equipment such as PB 980/840, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent
