In this dynamic role, youll support a regional leader in healthcare services renowned for specialty care spanning heart and vascular, oncology, neuro, rehabilitation, behavioral health, bariatric medicine, womens health, and more. Part of your growth will include sometimes floating to the NICU, gaining valuable experience with neonatal patient populations and broadening your clinical skillset.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with flexible scheduling
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with valid credentials
- Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Must be willing to float to the NICU as needed
- BLS certification required; additional certifications preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric and neonatal
- Monitor and adjust ventilator support
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams in specialized units (e.g., Heart & Vascular, Pediatrics, NICU)
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Ensure accurate charting and documentation in compliance with hospital protocols
