Schedule:
- Work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
- Flexible shifts: Collaborative day and night teams ensure balanced coverage
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential required
- Valid BLS & ACLS certifications
- Strong patient assessment abilities
- Proficiency in carrying out physician-ordered treatment protocols
- Critical care experience preferred
- NRP & PALS certifications highly desirable
Typical Procedures and Responsibilities:
- Perform arterial punctures, oxygen and aerosol therapies, non-invasive ventilation
- Manage and operate V60 Bipap, Vapotherms, Avea & Hamilton ventilators, EPOC ABG analyzers
- Use MEDITECH for electronic documentation
- Provide excellent patient care with a collaborative and forward-thinking team
- Effectively float within designated respiratory care areas as needed
- Adhere to unit dress code: Pewter scrubs
