This opportunity exposes you to a diverse patient population including critical care, post-surgical, and complex respiratory diagnoses in a Level 1 trauma setting. Schedule:

  • Night Shift: 18:30 07:00
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • No on-call requirements
  • 75% of holidays covered

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of critical care Respiratory Therapy experience
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NC license
  • BLS and ACLS required for Adult RT; BLS, PALS, and NRP for NICU/Peds RT
  • Prior experience in high-acuity or Level 1 trauma settings preferred
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability to different patient populations and units

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver critical respiratory care across medical/surgical floors and intensive care units, including NICU and pediatrics if qualified
  • Utilize advanced equipment such as Servo U/Air, The Vest, Volara, Aerogen, Heated High Flow, and cough assist; HFJV and HFOV for NICU/Peds
  • Document and communicate care via the EPIC electronic medical record
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration with skilled and experienced department leaders
