As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, youll work in a dynamic healthcare setting and gain exposure to diverse clinical practices, approaches in patient care, and various leadership styles. Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a COARC approved Respiratory Care Program; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required per NBRC guidelines.
  • BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • NRP certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • Minimum one year prior hospital respiratory experience.
  • Pulmonary and cardiac diagnostics experience preferred.
  • Must meet employment age requirements, pass background check and drug screening.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer competent respiratory care as ordered.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
  • Manage and document all procedures according to policy.
  • Provide effective airway management, assist with intubations and ventilator patients.
  • Conduct arterial blood gas draws and interpret results.
  • Participate in department meetings, in-service training, and continuous quality improvements.
  • Support orientation/training of new staff and students.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory policies.
