Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel position, shifts and hours provided upon interview

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from NBRC
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of one year clinical hospital experience
  • Pulmonary and cardiac diagnostics experience a plus
  • Able to pass background, drug screen, and health requirements
  • Must legally work in the US

Key Responsibilities:

  • Competently deliver all respiratory care procedures per physician order and department protocols
  • Maintain precise documentation of all procedures and verify orders
  • Monitor and assess patients from neonatal to geriatric populations
  • Manage mechanical ventilation and assist with intubations
  • Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret relevant data
  • Engage in departmental training, education, and quality improvement activities
  • Train and orient new staff and students
  • Troubleshoot and maintain cardiopulmonary equipment
  • Adhere to infection control and safety policies
