Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Strong respiratory assessment, intervention, and monitoring skills
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients across a variety of acuity levels
  • Perform assessments, initiate therapies, and monitor patient progress
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer medication and manage ventilator support as directed
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and care plans
  • Accurately document all care provided in accordance with facility protocols

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel assignment; specific shift details provided during interview process
