Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Strong respiratory assessment, intervention, and monitoring skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or eligibility to obtain)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients across a variety of acuity levels
- Perform assessments, initiate therapies, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medication and manage ventilator support as directed
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and care plans
- Accurately document all care provided in accordance with facility protocols
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; specific shift details provided during interview process
