This role is designed for Registered Respiratory Therapists seeking exposure to varied workplace protocols and cross-disciplinary collaboration. You'll have the chance to stabilize neonateshoning critical skills even without a dedicated NICUwhile broadening your portfolio through hands-on involvement in respiratory interventions across the care continuum. Schedule/Hours
- Shift: 6:00 p.m. 6:00 a.m.
- Days: Varied schedule with every other weekend required
Desired Qualifications
- Valid RRT credentials; must have an ABG license
- Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
- Experience with neonatal stabilization and ventilation
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Key Responsibilities
- Administer physician-prescribed respiratory care, including diagnostics, management, patient education, and rehab
- Obtain and analyze physiological specimens, interpret data, and perform cardiopulmonary tests and studies
- Provide mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, and bronchopulmonary hygiene
- Apply and monitor medical gases, environmental control systems, and pharmacological agents related to respiratory care
- Offer hemodynamic cardiovascular support in acute and chronic care settings
