Schedule/Hours:

  • 6:00pm 6:00am
  • Varied days with every other weekend required
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from facility

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications required
  • ABG license required
  • NICU experience required (facility does not have a NICU, but youll stabilize and ventilate neonates as needed)
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in fast-paced situations

Responsibilities:

  • Administer physician-prescribed respiratory care
  • Perform diagnostic evaluationscollect/analyze physiological specimens; interpret cardiopulmonary data
  • Provide management, rehabilitation, and education for patients with cardiopulmonary challenges
  • Apply respiratory technologies and protocols throughout care sites
  • Deliver mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, and bronchopulmonary hygiene
  • Utilize pharmacological agents and offer cardiopulmonary rehab and hemodynamic support
