Working in a hospital with 140 beds, youll be exposed to state-of-the-art technology such as Hamilton C1 and MR1 ventilators, V60, and work within the Meditech documentation system. Dedicated support staff, including unit secretaries and techs, foster a collaborative environment where professional growth flourishes. You'll be a vital part of a respiratory department distinguished by its progressive care for both adults and NICU patients. Gain valuable skills and broaden your resume while working with award-winning teams and the latest equipment in the field.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly
- Every other weekend required
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with valid credentials
- Minimum 2 years of general respiratory therapy experience
- Solid background in NICU respiratory care
- Proficiency with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilators
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NRP preferred (with opportunity to obtain after hire)
- Ability to wear all black scrubs as part of the dress code
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients
- Manage advanced respiratory equipment and therapies, including noninvasive and mechanical ventilation in the NICU
- Accurately document care in the Meditech EHR system
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
- Participate in staff development and ongoing training initiatives
