Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM 6:30 PM
- Rotating weekends
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid RRT license in Texas or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care or hospital setting
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Accurately assess, monitor, and document patients respiratory status and progress
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment and ventilators
- Collaborate with other healthcare staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education on respiratory care and self-management
