Engage in critical respiratory care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, delivering expert evaluation and treatment for patients facing respiratory insufficiencies. Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine appropriate respiratory treatments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and monitor respiratory care plans and equipment.
• Record and communicate patient conditions, adjusting care as necessary.
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities and evaluate medication administration effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory health, providing resources for community support.
• Respond promptly as part of emergency resuscitation teams.
• Adhere to standard precautions and use personal protective equipment appropriately.

Qualifications & Credentials:

• Must have current BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Preferred certifications include Advanced Life Support (ALS), Neonatal Resuscitation (AAP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Education background of at least a high school diploma with 2 years relevant experience, an associate or technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
