This travel position is an outstanding way to enhance your credentials as a Respiratory Therapist. You'll engage with a high-volume, progressive hospital recognized for its trauma, stroke, cardiac, and heart failure care. The opportunity to collaborate across diverse units such as SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, and trauma will expose you to new workplace practices, advanced technologies, and a variety of leadership stylesan experience that will challenge and expand your professional expertise.
Schedule/Hours
- Night shifts, 3 x 12 hours (18:3007:00)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend and call as needed
- 13-week assignment
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist, Missouri license
- BLS & ACLS (AHA only); PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience, with adult critical care and trauma background
- Proficient with blood gas draws, processing, and interpretation (preferred)
- Confident, adaptable, collaborative, and excellent with time management
Role Expectations
- Deliver exceptional respiratory care to diverse patient populations hospital-wide
- Manage critical care ventilators (Avea, LTV transport, V60 Bipap, Bellavista inbound), Vapo therm and Airvo systems
- Float to various units as needed
- Utilize EPIC EMR effectively
- Wear black scrubs (facility standard)
