Engaging in a travel assignment here means contributing to a high-caliber healthcare setting with exposure to nationally recognized programssuch as Level 2 Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke, and Heart Failure Certification wards. Youll work alongside expert teams, navigating a diverse patient population and state-of-the-art equipment, while strengthening your clinical expertise and experiencing various leadership and care delivery styles. Schedule/Hours:

  • Nights, 3x12 (18:30 07:00)
  • 13-week assignment
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekend and call coverage as required

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist, licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
  • Active BLS & ACLS (AHA required)
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience, with adult critical care, high-volume ED, and trauma proficiency
  • Preferred: PALS certification, blood gas draw/processing/interpretation skills
  • Adept with Avea vents, LTV transport, V60 Bipap, Vapo therm, and Airvo; Epic EMR experience a plus
  • Confident, self-motivated, strong time manager, and collaborative team player

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory care across SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma units
  • Administer lifesaving therapies, monitor ventilators, perform critical blood gas analysis
  • Float to various specialties as needed
  • Support stabilization and transportation protocols for pediatric emergencies
