This travel role places you in a nationally recognized healthcare setting, exposing you to advanced trauma care, comprehensive stroke management, and heart failure certification programsall ideal for expanding your clinical skillset. You'll collaborate with expert teams and leaders across multiple areas including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, neuro, and trauma unitsgaining insight from evolving workplace practices and strengthening your resume with critical experience.

Schedule:

  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours (18:30 07:00)
  • 36 hours weekly guaranteed
  • 13-week assignment
  • Weekend and call requirements as needed

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in adult critical care and busy emergency/trauma environments
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA)
  • Strong, confident clinician with excellent time management and teamwork skills
  • Preferred: PALS, blood gas draw/processing/interpretation experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care throughout all hospital areas for diverse patient populations
  • Handle equipment such as Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 Bipap, high-flow systems
  • Float between units as needed, adapting to fast-paced, high-acuity settings
  • Support pediatric patient stabilization in ED (transfers managed by specialized teams)
