This role places you in a modern healthcare setting, where youll sharpen your skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist alongside dedicated professionals in a Level 2 Trauma Center and comprehensive stroke facility. Exposure to a high-acuity, high-volume environmentcovering adult critical care, trauma, ED, SICU, and CVICUwill offer unique growth opportunities, deepening your expertise while you interact with diverse leadership styles and collaborative teams.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Nights, three 12-hour shifts (18:30 07:00)
  • 36 hours/week guaranteed
  • 13-week assignment
  • Weekend and call requirements as determined by facility

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current Missouri license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only); PALS preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience, preferably with adult critical care and trauma ED exposure
  • Proficiency in blood gas draws, processing/interpretation, and ventilation management
  • Confident, adaptable therapist with exceptional time management and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Care for respiratory patients throughout the hospital (ICU, ED, Neuro, Trauma, and more)
  • Manage advanced respiratory equipment (Avea, LTV, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm)
  • Utilize EPIC EMR system
  • Float as needed across various units
  • Maintain high standards of professional attire (black scrubs)
