Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel/Contract assignment (details provided upon interview)

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) required
  • Pediatric experience highly preferred
  • Current state license or eligibility to obtain
  • BLS, NRP, and other relevant certifications as required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pediatric respiratory therapy, including:
    • Medicated aerosol therapy and patient education (aerosol, MDI, DPI therapy)
    • Aerosol delivery via various nebulizer systems
    • Airway clearance therapies and high-frequency chest wall oscillation
    • Hyperinflation, positive expiratory pressure, cough assist, and ventilation support (CPAP, BiPAP, mechanical ventilation)
    • Airway management, tracheostomy care, intubation assistance, and blood gas sampling/analysis
    • Initiate/monitor advanced therapies (NAVA, Nitric Oxide, HFNC)
    • Support high-risk deliveries per NRP protocols
    • Transport ventilated or high-acuity patients safely around the facility
  • Adhere to best practices, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards
  • Document treatments, monitor responses, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
