As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will make a direct impact on patient care by providing critical respiratory support and interventions. Your expertise will play a key role in working alongside interdisciplinary care teams to help patients on their path to better health.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Respiratory Therapist license (RRT) required
• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital environment strongly preferred
• Proficient with ventilator management, airway care, and respiratory treatments
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule:

• Contract position; specific shift details provided during interview process

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care for patients of varying acuity
• Initiate, monitor, and manage ventilator and non-invasive respiratory support
• Administer aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive respiratory management
• Respond rapidly to emergency situations such as Code Blue and provide airway management
• Accurately document all patient care activities in accordance with facility protocols
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment usage
