This opportunity is ideal for Registered Respiratory Therapists eager to enhance their skills and adaptability. Work alongside a dedicated healthcare team, contributing to the stabilization and care of both adult and neonatal patients, including providing life-saving interventions until transfer teams arrive. This role enhances your rsum with crucial experience in managing acute cases and diverse patient populations.
Schedule/Hours:
- 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Varied days with every other weekend required
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active ABG license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 100 miles residency radius required
- Experience in neonatal stabilization and ventilatory support strongly needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer physician-prescribed respiratory care to patients across all care settings
- Obtain, analyze, and interpret physiological specimens and cardiopulmonary data
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and perform various cardiopulmonary tests
- Manage ventilatory support, artificial airway care, and bronchopulmonary hygiene
- Apply, monitor, and adjust medical gases and environmental systems
- Educate, rehabilitate, and support patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies
