This travel role offers the opportunity to refine your abilities as a Registered Respiratory Therapist while working in a dynamic acute care environment. You'll be exposed to a range of workplace practices, collaborate with seasoned leaders in respiratory care, and gain insights that support your ongoing professional growth.
Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
- Alternating weekends required
Qualifications:
- Active credentials: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness to work every other weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation in an acute care setting
- Collaborate closely with nursing and medical teams to provide quality patient-centered care
- Monitor patients, manage ventilators, and ensure documentation meets standards
- Provide support and education to patients and families regarding respiratory health
