In this specialized role, you will join a cutting-edge respiratory care team in a modern, 240-bed facility employing advanced equipment such as the Hamilton G5. With flexible scheduling and a highly skilled team, this assignment offers unmatched exposure to a variety of patient populations, including NICU, PICU, ICU, pediatrics, and emergency care. You will contribute actively to ventilator management, neonatal and pediatric therapies, critical airway interventions, and patient/staff educationgaining valuable hands-on experience and autonomy in high-acuity environments. Collaborate with seasoned professionals, learn diverse leadership approaches, and be a part of a supportive, collaborative respiratory care team.
Schedule/Hours:
- 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Flexible scheduling options
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 6 months current acute care hospital experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- CRT or NBRC credentials
Preferred Experience:
- Meditech EMR proficiency
- Experience in PICU and NICU settings
- Previous use of Hamilton G5 ventilators
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapies across diverse units (ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, Med-Surg)
- Set up and manage ventilators, assist with intubation, perform ABGs
- Engage in patient and staff education
- Promote best practices through collaboration and teamwork
