Job Description

Deliver high-quality patient care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist within a respected healthcare environment serving a diverse population. Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Active and unencumbered state license as a Respiratory Therapist, or eligibility
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care modalities, ventilator management, and airway care
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, and execute individualized patient care
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Recent experience as an RRT in a hospital or acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and deliver appropriate respiratory therapy treatments
  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation and high-flow oxygen systems
  • Assist in critical care settings, including rapid response and emergency interventions
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health, therapy equipment, and disease management
  • Collaborate extensively with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate optimal treatment plans
  • Accurately document treatments, observations, and patient responses in electronic medical records
  • Maintain and ensure safety and proper functioning of respiratory equipment
  • Uphold infection control, safety, and healthcare facility policies at all times
