This role is ideal for experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists who are passionate about neonatal and adult critical care. You'll collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team, gaining exposure to varied workplace methodologies and leadership stylesan excellent opportunity to strengthen your skill set and expand your resume with specialized neonatal experience.
Schedule/Hours:
- Shift: 1800-0630
- Days: Variable
- On Call Requirement: As needed
Qualifications:
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
- RRT credentials required
- ABG License required
- Greater than 3 years of Level 3 NICU experience, including:
- High frequency ventilation
- Nitric oxide and heliox administration
- Neonatal intubation and ventilator management
- Bubble CPAP and heated high flow for neonates
- Neonatal arterial puncture and delivery attendance
- NICU transport experience preferred
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed respiratory care and therapy
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, including physiological specimen analysis and cardiopulmonary testing
- Provide advanced respiratory support in both adult and neonatal critical care units
- Float efficiently among all critical care areas as needed
- Support patient education and participate in rehabilitation and care across the cardiopulmonary spectrum
