Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist with valid state licensure
Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred
Previous experience in acute care settings is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to exercise sound judgement in high-pressure clinical situations

Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care and comprehensive respiratory therapy, including hyperbaric medicine for qualified therapists
Execute all procedures according to established protocols and policies
Organize and manage therapy workload efficiently for optimal patient care
Participate actively in educational activities and departmental meetings
Document care, charts, reports, and patient interactions in a timely and accurate manner
Respond promptly to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls, documenting accordingly
Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care
Provide specialized services such as pulmonary function testing, NICU/PICU care, and asthma education (training-dependent)
Carry out additional duties as assigned
