As a Registered Respiratory Therapist on this travel assignment, youll work within a robust, 266-bed regional hospital renowned for clinical excellence and state-of-the-art technology. The Respiratory Therapy team is a close-knit, interdisciplinary group with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Here, youll collaborate with experienced colleagues, gain exposure to diverse leadership styles, and develop advanced critical and emergency care skillsmaking your experience both resume-enriching and personally fulfilling.

Schedule:

  • 7:00pm 7:00am shifts
  • Minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced respiratory care, including ventilator and Bipap management, aerosol treatments, and emergency interventions
  • Rotate through all inpatient units, including two 10-bed ICUs, and participate in bedside procedures (intubation, arterial line insertion, bronchoscopy assistance)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Utilize cutting-edge equipment including Puritan Bennet 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and more
  • Accurately document care using Meditech system

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
  • Critical care and emergency care experience
  • Proficiency with varied ventilators and respiratory devices
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
  • Adaptable to floating among multiple units and high patient acuity
