Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active and unencumbered state license
- Proficiency in all respiratory care modalities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous relevant hospital experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients across all age groups and levels of acuity
- Assess patient needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and proper usage of equipment
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations requiring specialized respiratory intervention
- Document all care provided in compliance with facility protocols and standards
