Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel assignment with flexible scheduling options
Qualifications:
- Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy required
- Current New York State license and registration as a Respiratory Therapist
- Minimum of two years post-A.A.S. clinical acute care experience
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills
- Must complete and pass pre-employment health clearance
Responsibilities:
- Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapies to patients
- Initiate and monitor oxygen therapy
- Assist physicians with instituting and managing continuous ventilation
- Deliver cardiopulmonary resuscitation as required
- Perform pulmonary function tests and radial arterial punctures
- Execute a broad range of patient care responsibilities in acute settings, independently and with minimal orientation
