This travel opportunity offers exposure to a dynamic medical environment as you work in a large, nationally-recognized hospital with over 767 licensed beds. Youll collaborate with a diverse team, care for complex patients, and experience a high-acuity setting, all while growing your expertise in pediatric stabilization, trauma, and critical care. Working in this renowned facility allows you to develop your clinical abilities, engage with the latest respiratory technology and EMR systems, and learn from experienced leaders in the field.

Schedule:

  • Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (18:30 07:00)
  • 36 hours per week guaranteed
  • 13-week contract
  • Weekend and call shifts as required by the facility

Required Experience & Certifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist, licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
  • Minimum 1 year of critical care experience including high-volume ED and trauma
  • Proficiency with adult critical care
  • Ability and willingness to float as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • PALS certification
  • Experience in blood gas procedures and interpretation

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory therapy across all hospital units including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, and trauma
  • Utilize advanced equipment (Avea, LTV, V60 Bipap, Vapo therm, Airvo)
  • Support high-acuity adult and trauma patient populations
  • Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and strong time management
