Youll work within a 419-bed hospital, gaining valuable exposure to a variety of workplace practices, patient populations, and leadership strategiesa perfect setting to grow your skills and expand your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- Work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
Desired Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with valid, current credentials
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Patient assessment expertise and the ability to perform treatment procedures as ordered
- Strongly preferred: Critical care background; NRP & PALS certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to tailor effective respiratory care plans
- Perform standard procedures, including arterial punctures, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and non-invasive ventilation
- Operate advanced equipment such as V60 BiPap, Vapotherms, Avea & Hamilton ventilators, and EPOC ABG analyzers
- Accurately document in MEDITECH EMR system
- Adapt to a patient ratio of 1:10-15 during first rounds
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and float as required to meet patient needs
