Qualifications:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in either Pediatric ICU or Neonatal ICU
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (or eligibility)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care to pediatric or neonatal patients with complex needs
- Evaluate, plan, and execute treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies based on changing clinical status
- Operate ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment safely
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and health maintenance
