By working in diverse practice settings with variable days and the 1800-0630 shift, youll develop new skills and expand your resume, gaining exposure to a variety of workplace cultures, treatment protocols, and leadership techniques. This is the ideal role for Respiratory Therapists who excel in dynamic environments and are eager to advance their professional journey.

Schedule:

  • Shift: 1800-0630 (evenings/nights)
  • Days: Variable
  • On-call requirement: As needed

Desired Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with ABG license required
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum 3 years of Level 3 NICU experience, including proficiency in:
    • High frequency ventilation
    • Nitric oxide, heliox therapy
    • Neonatal intubation and ventilator management
    • Bubble CPAP and heated high flow for neonates
    • Neonatal arterial puncture and delivery attendance
  • Strong NICU transport experience preferred
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from Carson City, NV

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physician-directed respiratory care in both adult and neonatal units
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, analyze physiological data, and perform specialized cardiopulmonary testing
  • Apply advanced technology and treatment protocols across various hospital settings
  • Manage ventilator support, artificial airways, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and pharmacological therapies
  • Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care
