Within this reputable hospital setting, youll serve as a Registered Respiratory Therapist supporting adult critical care. Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certificationmandatory
- Experience in adult critical care environments
- Knowledge of Hamilton ventilators preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC charting systems preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced clinical settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in adult critical care units
- Operate advanced ventilatory equipment, including Hamilton ventilators
- Accurately document therapy and patient progress using EPIC electronic records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory therapies
