Schedule/Hours:
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Prior experience with Hamilton ventilators highly preferred
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic charting preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care and support to patients spanning various acuity levels
- Operate and troubleshoot Hamilton ventilators and related respiratory equipment
- Document patient care and interventions using EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory therapies and self-care when appropriate
- Adhere to all established safety protocols and best practices
