Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Pediatric ICU or Neonatal ICU
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proven skills in advanced respiratory care for critically ill infants and children
  • Strong critical thinking and team collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to NICU and PICU patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement treatment protocols
  • Monitor patient responses, adjust ventilator parameters, and administer therapeutic interventions
  • Document all interventions and patient progress accurately
  • Educate patients families on care plans and equipment as needed
