Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials (CRT certification not accepted)
• Current Ohio RCP license (must be obtained prior to start)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and related network applications preferred
• Prior experience delivering a full spectrum of respiratory therapy services in a hospital or similar clinical environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Carry out respiratory therapy modalities as prescribed by provider orders
• Accurately chart in Epic and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for patient care needs
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Comply with all safety standards and infection control protocols
• Manage daily workflow, which may require periods of sitting, standing, lifting (up to 25 lbs.), or exposure to communicable diseases and chemicals
