Required Skills & Experience:
- Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Advanced knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities, equipment, and protocols
- Prior experience in acute care and/or hospital settings preferred
- Ability to assess respiratory needs and deliver care for a wide spectrum of patients
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced certifications a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions for patients with respiratory disorders
- Operate mechanical ventilators, administer oxygen therapy, and manage airway devices
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient care and therapy progress
- Educate patients and family members on respiratory care procedures
- Uphold the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and infection control
