This travel assignment is ideal for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist seeking to expand their skillset and resume with specialized experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) and critical care settings. Youll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across various units, gaining insights into diverse workplace practices and growing professionally while supporting patients in need.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours guaranteed per week
  • Night shifts: 12-hour or 8-hour options (06301500 or 06301900)
  • Every 2nd or 3rd weekend required

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with active Wisconsin RRT license (CRT license also considered)
  • Minimum 3 years recent experience as an RRT
  • NICU experience required; comfort in high-acuity/critical care environments
  • Proficiency with EPIC charting (within the past 12 months)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Adaptable, resilient, and a team-oriented attitude
  • COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is provided

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations in emergency and critical care units
  • Float as needed to different facilities and units based on patient censusnever outside your clinical competencies
  • Collaborate with nursing and provider teams, adapting care to meet evolving patient needs
  • Maintain flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Utilize current clinical technology and best practices for optimal patient outcomes
