A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to contribute expertise in pulmonary function testing (PFT) within a well-regarded medical setting. This contract position involves working 5 days per week with 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, offering a consistent schedule to support work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pulmonary function testing utilizing Morgan Scientific equipment and software, as well as Compas2 systems.
- Conduct accurate and timely respiratory assessments and diagnostic testing in the PFT lab.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality care and proper interpretation of test results.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to established protocols and standards.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in compliance with regulatory and facility guidelines.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Previous experience specifically in pulmonary function testing is highly preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Morgan Scientific equipment and Compas2 software for PFT.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
