Position Overview Contribute to the care of patients in a well-established, multifaceted respiratory unit, serving a 371-bed hospital with a robust medical-surgical program, Level 2B nursery, ICU, and more.

Schedule

  • 36 hours per week
  • Night shifts, with every other weekend required
  • Occasional rotation to 11a11p considered for day positions; nights remain consistent

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting, including ventilator management
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Proficient in drawing arterial blood gases
  • Current CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC
  • Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and effective respiratory care using PB980 and Hamilton T1 ventilators
  • Manage a varied patient load; night team includes 4 Respiratory Therapists on shift
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in ICU, Med/Surg, and specialized units
  • Document care and progress in the EPIC platform
