Position Overview Contribute to the care of patients in a well-established, multifaceted respiratory unit, serving a 371-bed hospital with a robust medical-surgical program, Level 2B nursery, ICU, and more.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Night shifts, with every other weekend required
- Occasional rotation to 11a11p considered for day positions; nights remain consistent
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting, including ventilator management
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Proficient in drawing arterial blood gases
- Current CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC
- Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective respiratory care using PB980 and Hamilton T1 ventilators
- Manage a varied patient load; night team includes 4 Respiratory Therapists on shift
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in ICU, Med/Surg, and specialized units
- Document care and progress in the EPIC platform
