This opportunity allows you to enhance your skills alongside expert clinicians in a diverse hospital setting, gaining valuable experience in a large facility with a 220-bed Med/Surg unit, MICU, Level 2B Nursery, and more. Engage with innovative approaches to patient care, broaden your professional horizons, and add sought-after experience with advanced ventilator management and EPIC electronic medical records to your resume.

Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Day/Eve rotation with some shifts from 11a11p as needed
  • Every other weekend rotation required

Desired Background:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting, including ventilator management
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Ability to draw arterial blood gases
  • CRT or RRT credentials from NBRC
  • Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services in an acute hospital setting
  • Manage mechanical ventilation (familiarity with PB980 and Hamilton T1 Transport ventilators)
  • Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and assist in critical respiratory care in ICU and Med/Surg units
  • Utilize EPIC for documentation and charting
  • Collaborate with care teams to ensure optimal outcomes for diverse patient populations
