This opportunity allows you to enhance your skills alongside expert clinicians in a diverse hospital setting, gaining valuable experience in a large facility with a 220-bed Med/Surg unit, MICU, Level 2B Nursery, and more. Schedule:
- 36 hours per week
- Day/Eve rotation with some shifts from 11a11p as needed
- Every other weekend rotation required
Desired Background:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting, including ventilator management
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Ability to draw arterial blood gases
- CRT or RRT credentials from NBRC
- Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services in an acute hospital setting
- Manage mechanical ventilation (familiarity with PB980 and Hamilton T1 Transport ventilators)
- Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and assist in critical respiratory care in ICU and Med/Surg units
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and charting
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure optimal outcomes for diverse patient populations
