Schedule & Hours:

  • Day shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
  • 36 weekly guaranteed hours
  • Weekend and on-call hours as needed

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a COARC/AARC/NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapy program
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (Missouri Board of Respiratory Care)
  • Registered through the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Current ACLS, BLS, NRP or PEARS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge and skills in respiratory therapies for cardiopulmonary patients
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and on-call assignments
  • Commitment to mission-driven, compassionate care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with diverse cardiopulmonary conditions
  • Support physicians during diagnosis and therapy
  • Collaborate with staff, serving as an advanced resource on the unit
  • Adhere to the scope of practice as defined by state and hospital standards
  • Utilize the EPIC EMR for comprehensive patient documentation
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, service standards, and infection control practices
