Schedule & Hours:
- Day shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- 36 weekly guaranteed hours
- Weekend and on-call hours as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of a COARC/AARC/NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapy program
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (Missouri Board of Respiratory Care)
- Registered through the National Board of Respiratory Care
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP or PEARS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience
- Strong knowledge and skills in respiratory therapies for cardiopulmonary patients
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and on-call assignments
- Commitment to mission-driven, compassionate care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with diverse cardiopulmonary conditions
- Support physicians during diagnosis and therapy
- Collaborate with staff, serving as an advanced resource on the unit
- Adhere to the scope of practice as defined by state and hospital standards
- Utilize the EPIC EMR for comprehensive patient documentation
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, service standards, and infection control practices
