Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment
Qualifications:
- Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Active state license in good standing
- Advanced knowledge of respiratory therapies, protocols, and equipment
- BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
- At least one year of recent acute care experience as an RRT
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory care and procedures to patients with acute and chronic illness
- Monitor patient progress, assess therapy effectiveness, and document treatments
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain and ensure proper operation of respiratory equipment
- Provide patient and family education on respiratory health and equipment use
