Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30 07:00)
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- Weekend/call coverage as required
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Missouri Board license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA only), PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of hospital experience
- Proficient in adult critical care and trauma ED environments
- Blood gas draw, processing, and interpretation preferred
- Solid time management; team-oriented, adaptable, and confident
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions throughout critical care, ED, trauma, and specialty units
- Utilize high-level equipment (Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 Bipap, high flow systems)
- Float to different units as departmental needs dictate
- Ensure safe practices and accurate EMR documentation using Epic
