Responsibilities:
- Deliver both routine and critical respiratory care services to adult and geriatric patients
- Adhere to physician orders and departmental policies covering all aspects of respiratory therapy
- Confidently work independently as well as provide guidance to support staff as assigned
- Thoroughly complete documentation, including paperwork, EMR entries, flow sheets, and charge capture for each patient
- Participate in quality assurance and team initiatives
- Foster a safe and compassionate environment for all patients
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Valid state respiratory care practitioner license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively oversee designated staff
- Experience in adult and geriatric respiratory care preferred
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
