Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Proven experience providing respiratory care in a hospital or clinical setting
- Familiarity with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway management techniques
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively in urgent situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, variable shifts may be required based on patient needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, and administering respiratory care procedures to patients with respiratory disorders
- Operating and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment such as ventilators and oxygen delivery systems
- Monitoring patient progress, documenting care, and updating medical records accurately
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care
- Responding to emergency situations, including code blue alerts, and delivering timely respiratory interventions
- Educating patients and their families about proper respiratory care techniques and equipment use
