This position is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist interested in joining a high-volume, 350-bed acute care setting. Exposure to advanced respiratory care technologysuch as the Hamilton G5/C1/T1 and Vyair Avea ventilatorswill bolster your clinical expertise. Here, youll collaborate with teams across shifts, gaining insights into diverse approaches and leadership styles, preparing you for new roles and responsibilities throughout your career.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend shifts
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care for patients across variable ratios
- Manage and troubleshoot a range of ventilators
- Perform airway management and respond to acute respiratory needs
- Document in Meditech EMR
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient experiences
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
- At least 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience as an RRT
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Preferred: Prior Meditech EMR use
- Preferred: Experience with PEDS/NICU/PICU patient populations
